There are elastic slots on the divider inside and if you do stick pens/pencils in them, you lose a ton of storage space so they are kind of redundant. But I have a ton of junk in my little pouch which is nice to have it all stored in 1 place in my backpack! Plus the Kalea pattern is SUPER cute!I’ve always purchased dakine products for backpacks, travel bags and more. I purchased this to store all my iPad accessories such as pencil and charger. Great product!Very nice sturdy case. I gave it only four stars because it was a bit smaller than I hoped. I read the dimensions and ordered it anyway, and it does work well for my son, but we had to keep his 24 pack of crayons elsewhere in his schoolbag. It held his pencils, pens, eraser, highlighters, scissors, and glue stick.I purchased a few Dakine bags all at the same time, and this one is good but it always feels like its bulk is the wrong direction. I can pile pens and other stuff into it, and it has a little flip up section that zips shut, but I think it should of been slightly longer and maybe not so wide.This case is very stylish, holds quit a few writing instruments, and has room for flash drives, scissors, and other office supplies. My husband asked for a "cool looking pencil case" for Christmas, and he was very excited to get this. It is difficult to see from the picture, but the design is a dark black/gray pinstripe; it is very manly. The zipper seems very sturdy and looks like it will hold up well to repeated use.Bought this for our son because his pencils were always falling out of his desk when he was getting books out.He stores all his pencils, pens, erasers, highlighters, scissors, glue sticks, and more inside this little case. It is fantastic. So glad we found it and bought it.It has rigid sides so it holds up well, is easy to unzip and zip closed, and stays put. It looks good too!The color is exactly what expected. Love the zipper storage, I use it for my charging cable. Good amount of storage for all my pens, pencils and higlighters and even have a little more room.After light usage, the inside zipper already broke. The quality is not great but it looks cool.Love this. Love Dakine. Good size (big) holds about 30 pens. Price fluctuates with Daking and I got this for only a few quid.Lovely product. Also has an inside pocket for the Pencil Sharpener & rubber.Das Mäppchen erfüllt meine Erwartungen. Es ist neu, wirkt am Anfang etwas steif, sehr stabil verarbeitet,Die Farben sind wie beschrieben, das Innenleben ist praktisch aufgeteilt. Innen ist es in einem starken Türkis gehalten, was mir persönlich nicht sooo gut gefällt, aber das ist Geschmackssache.Ich bekomme alles unter und es bleibt genug Platz für alles, was man im Schul-/Ausbildungsalltag braucht. (große Schere, Textmarker..)Das einzige Manko ist, dass die Innenlasche mit den Netz und den Gummieschlaufen ein bisschen zu groß ist (sie behindert den Reißverschluss beim Schließen, wenn das Schlamperfach ganz gefüllt ist und sie oben auf liegt).Das liegt aber vermutlich daran, dass alles noch sehr steif und neu ist, und wird sich sicher ändern.Stören tut es nicht wirklich.Ich werde mir auf jeden Fall, wenn ich Abwechslung brauche, irgendwann nochmal so eins bestellen, evtl in anderer Farbe.Kaufempfehlung.Das Mäppchen ist total schief genäht, was ich von Dakine nicht erwartet habe. Erst dachte Ich, es ist ein Montagsmäppchen und habe es umgetauscht. Leider hat es nichts gebracht, weil das zweite Mäppchen auch schief war, aber an anderen Stellen als das erste. Sogar der Reißverschluss ging nicht so gut. Vielleicht ist die glatte Materialoberfläche schwer zu verarbeiten, aber für den Preis erwarte ich schon von dieser Firma ein anständiges Produkt.Also schicke ich beide Exemplare zurück und suche ein passendes Mäppchen bei einem anderen Hersteller.
