I remember i was at an Army Baracks store nearby me one day, and held this knife back then. It felt far more solid and heavier build. And that knife was a cheap copy of original. Back then, i thought that was cheap. It was everywhere. I was tempted to buy it, but never did. Since, they've taken that store down. That was over 12 year's ago, give or take. So i bought this knife thinking it would be the same. Just got it. This particular one is far more lighter, and thinner and cheaper in feel then the other blade in the past. It was the same price, or, i think the other one was actually cheaper in price. I didn't have to wait long either. I should had gotten the other one. It even had my flag on it. Although, I'll give it the benefit of a doubt, it's more of a very light duty knife if anything. The grip feels fantastic. Maybe that's just the nature of how the handle is shaped. It has the edge you would think. Which, is barely an edge and point. If you can sharpen it, you can use it for lightweight work. Just don't go trying to have it bite off more then it can chew.
