The handle is simply beautiful. The knife is well balanced and will take and hold a good working edge. Sheath looks handmade in an old style with no snaps or velcro to be seen. Knife fits snugly and is held in place as is or you can add a leather thon to make retention more secure. Knife is perfect for whittling and camp chores as the finger grip makes for a secure gold and the thumb support on top of the blade helps as well. I will definately buy more knives from Szco and may buy several more of these for xmas presents.
